Mrs. Chichebem Okolo, graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria with an LL.B (Hons) degree in 1999. She qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2000 and was accordingly admitted to the Bar of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the same year. She worked as an in-house counsel in the Legal Department of the Lagos State of Nigeria Development and Property Cooperation before joining McCarthy Mbadugha & Co. in 2002. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Centre for Oil Pollution Watch. She has considerable experience in Asset Tracing/Recovery and Environmental Law.
